FAQ
What program/brushes do you use?
Most of my art has been made with Paint Tool SAI using two brushes: a modified pencil brush (whose initial settings I got from 7clubs on tumblr) and a marker brush that I tweaked myself.
Recently I've switched to Krita and use the Stipple Beast brushes and texture pack by TOMB of NULL.
Can I use your art/writing or repost it to another website?

I mostly use Futekiya (part of the MangaPlanet subscription service) to read original BL manga. For fan doujinshi, I look them up on pixiv and very occasionaly order them from Toranoana.I used to be a more voracious reader of original BL, but nowadays, I don't read so much that I find myself needing to look in other places.
What's the difference between yaoi/BL/shounen-ai?
Check out this article for a quick overview, but in short:- Boy's Love (BL) = works that focus on M/M romantic/sexual relationships, especially those targeted at a mostly female audience. Usually refers to original work (but can be used for fanworks).
- Shounen-ai = subgenre of shoujo manga from the 70's that consisted of dramatic and often tragic homoerotic stories, precursors of modern BL manga. Associated with authors of the Year 24 Group. In Japan, it's not a synonym for non-sexual BL. Many shounen-ai stories featured sex and dark themes.
- Yaoi = tongue-in-cheek term for M/M fanworks, especially fan doujinshi that focus more on sex than plot. The term is not widely used in Japan anymore, but it's still popular internationally.
